Summer Host-Your-Own Lemonade Stands
Whether your family sets up a lemonade stand at an annual sporting event or just in your front yard, donating lemonade funds to Gelfand is a great way to get students involved in helping their neighbors in need!
Fall Gelfand Gallop Color Run
This family event combines running, colorful powder, and lots of smiles! Thanks to our amazing volunteers and all the families who show up to enjoy the fun!
Fall Community Coat Drive
Every October Gelfand partners with several other local organizations to collect coats for those in need. Hundreds of coats are collected and organized by student and adult volunteers before being distributed to Glenview families.
November Culver's Night
GBS students help to make our annual Culver's fundraising night a success! Nothing pairs better with burgers and custard like friendly faces collecting donations for Gelfand.
December Andreas Hogue Sip-n-Shop
Huge thanks to Andreas Hogue Salon in Northbrook for organizing this festive holiday shopping night on Giving Tuesday (the Tuesday after Thanksgiving). Highlights from past years have included the GBS Chamber Singers, a signature event cocktail, and a fantastic selection of unique gifts just in time for the holidays.
Spring Direct-Ask Fundraiser
We understand how chaotic life can be -- no need for a big gala or raffle baskets! Our easy, direct-ask fundraiser provides aid for hundreds of families experiencing hardship. A HUGE thank you to our donors for supporting neighbors in need!
Summer Concert Benefitting Gelfand
Each summer, Glenview natives Hayden Hogue and Marie Ku create a fantastic classical music event that is open to all ages and raises money for Gelfand. Special thanks to Glenview United Methodist Church for hosting this event year after year.
